BeYond the Closet

YOUR wedding day is over. You've said your vows and cried your tears. Now what? That beautiful wedding gown gets placed in a bag to be put in a box to be stored in the back of your closet? I DON'T THINK SO! You don't have to say goodbye to the dress JUST yet!

BeYond the Closet (BTC) is a service unlike anything else you would do with your wedding dress and you're husband/wife. The videography created in BTC is very creative and artistic. The wetter, the dirtier, the more edgier the shots the better the video. Check out our BeYond the Closet video at the link below!

Wedding Season is Starting!!

This is only our 3rd year in business and we have been so blessed with opportunity and work. For example starting tonight we have a gig to shoot, tomorrow we have a wedding, Saturday we also have a wedding, and we have a bridal show on Sunday. Next Saturday we have another wedding. It's really cool to be apart of something and watch it grow from nothing to something. We are definately thankful for all our customers and clients because you help put food on our tables. It's a realllly busy time of year for us and you can imagine what that is like because you are perhaps in the middle of planning your wedding. If you want a certain vendor then be sure to contact them immediately to check if your date is available because they fill up fast! Our goal is to improve our skills and deliver an even better product to satisfy all of our clients desires.

Bridal Registry Helpful Hints

Everything we do in our lives has a specific time and place. During some points in our lives we are less busy compared to other times. The same is true for the wedding industry. On the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, wedding season (unofficially) begins and precedes through September. Hundreds even thousands of couples will walk down the aisle between wedding season with June being the most popular month to marry. You may end up going to a few weddings yourself. You may also have your own wedding. Purchasing a wedding gift, a new outfit, and any travel expenses can quickly add up the cost of attending a wedding. Just think if you had your wedding in the same season! Plans and budgets must be set into place in order to save you money heartaches.

When searching for the perfect wedding gift stick to the bridal registry. Anything else may be placed for sale on ebay because it was not requested by the bride and groom. They are helping you, the guest, by giving you specific, detailed information about the products and materials they would like and need for their new life together. How much should I spend on a gift? No less than $50. If you are closer to the couple or you are related to them you should be spending more than $50, for example $75-$100+.

As a bride and groom be selective with your registry. Don't go around the whole store marking randomn stuff. It's important for you to focus on the essesntials of your new home and its needs. You still can choose "fun" items just don't go overboard. Hint: When loading your registry, try to avoid selecting clearance items because once the item is out of stock it is out of sight. I've seen this happen several times. A couple was getting married in June and they registered in November. Right before Christmas big deals and sales occur so they clicked on several clearance items for their registry. Well as soon as Christmas was over the items they selected were not available. They were disappointed and received incomplete sets. Don't be disappointed, try to avoid the clearance items.

WHY I do WHAT I do

I just don't get it sometimes. I don't get why someone would not want a memory that they can particpate in as if they were there in the moment. I don't get why brides will spend thousands of dollars on flowers that will eventually die but they will not get a professional videographer for one of the most important days of their life!

Let's take a look into the future. You're a grandmother now, and your granddaughter is engaged. She asked you several questions and with great delight you tell her every detail about your wedding that you can remember in your older years. You can tell her about it, or you can show her your wedding video so she can actually hear her grandma and grandpa celebrate their commitment to each other. What if something happens and your granddaughter is never able to meet her grandpa because he passed on before she was born. She's curious about looks and tone of voice. Show her what he looked like and she can also hear his voice when you show her your wedding video.

Some people are in this world to strike it rich. I believe that restoring once in a lifetime memory is striking it rich. What I mean is you may pay a small price for the wedding video, but in the long run you have made a rich investment that you can share with anyone!

What's MY Wedding Style?

What's MY wedding style should be a question you ask yourself when you begin to plan for your big day. Everyone has their own taste when it comes to designing and planning. Sticking with your style will help keep all of your details in-line and rule out any other possibilities that don't necessarily fit with your style. When you choose your wedding style you are conveying your lifestyle.

Three common wedding styles are contemporary, romantic, and traditional. The contemporary style involves the lastest trends of the wedding world. This style is up-to-date and living. The romantic style may include modernism, but it establish's more of a "fantasy" style. Romantic styles are usually in the evening or they can occur at a destination location such as the Bahamas. Last but not least is the traditional wedding style. In accordance with your basic marriage ceremony you'll find the traditional style. Just because the tradition may be handed down does not mean that it's boring and dull. You can still add your own flavor to your day.

What are some other wedding styles that you really admire?

Do you have Bridezilla syndrome?

Are you finding that nothing is going your way for your wedding? Are people ignoring you as if you aren't even around? You are the princess who is marrying or has married the prince. You are royalty and deserve nothing less than the best. Everyone should be obedient to your command as it is your wedding day. Share with the rest of us reasons why you have succommed to bridezilla syndrome on your day.

For example:

1) The cake didn't turn out like it was intended to

2) The hook on my dress was missing

3) My flowers were too purple and bright, etc

You aren't the only bridezilla out there. In fact WE TV has a show called Bridezillas. Check it out sometime if you think you could relate well. It's hilarious yet at the same time you do empathize with some of the brides. AND take a test to find out if you qualify as a bridezilla or not. http://quiz.ivillage.com/love/tests/badbride.htm
